About This Quote

When I write, I want to be a part of something - not just words on a page, but the world made up of words and ideas. Words are the building blocks of that world. Ideas are what give it strength and meaning. When I create characters, I hope that my readers will share their love for the characters with me.

And when my characters act, I hope they will make the reader laugh, cry or cheer. That is why I write. That is why it has always been worth writing.
